Our Process

As passionate brandymakers, we think of brandy as the crowning achievement of the winemaking process. And in our world, quality brandy can only be made from quality wine. We make brandy that delivers the distinctive natural aromas and flavors of the fine grape varieties we use from California's top winegrowing regions. From French Colombard to Grenache and Barbera, each variety is selected for its ability to age and develop nuanced flavors.

We then age our brandies in seasoned oak barrels in a temperature-controlled environment and continually taste from the barrels to assess the quality and maturity of each lot before blending each brandy in the E&J collection.
