INGREDIENTS:
1 ½ oz E&J VSOP or XO Brandy
1 oz sweet vermouth
½ tsp simple syrup
1 dash of bitters
INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix brandy, vermouth and simple syrup in a cocktail glass, adding a dash of bitters at the end.
To make simple syrup fill a bottle that has a cork or screwcap on it halfway up with superfine sugar, then fill the other half with water. Shake, shake, shake until the sugar dissolves and it's ready to use. Store in the refrigerator in between uses.
